When Technology Goes Bad

Seriously? You go to work, you come home and boom, just like that on a random Monday evening everything you own - work laptop, personal laptop, iPad and iPhone has lost the ability to connect to wifi.

What the hell?

And of course a search on your 3G, the one remaining link tethering you to the outside world, leads you to a dozen forums where folks like yourself have posted the same question in desperation leading to a mind-numbing array of responses ranging from reboot the router, clear your cookies from Safari, adjust the brightness on your iPad, do some technical stuff with security settings, walk away, do something technical with the router.

This is what sends me reeling when something happens in my electronic world. I want the exact answer for why 10 hours earlier I was scrolling through my Twitter feed and then....darkness. Perhaps even more frustrating is the realization of how utterly reliant I am on said devices. Damn you technological advances.

At least I got my post out.
