The last hurrah. For now.
It was the perfect day for the final ride before our Ironsistah-in-training, Jessica, heads off to do battle in Idaho at Ironman Couer d'Alene. 2 more days and she flies out of SF! Hard to believe she doesn't look more stressed here sitting next to the newly minted Brazilian Ironchica, Rangsiwan, and yours truly, IM Canada '06 and Vineman '04 age group winner from the year formerly known as my depression.
Rick, who just completed his own sensational endurance event - a Wisconsin 100-mile running race, taking THIRD overall - is thinking 1 of 3 things:
1. I love beer.
2. I'm glad I'm not doing Ironman in a week.
3. Riding with girls rules.
And so, without someone to pull me along for 100 mile rides and 2 1/2 hour runs - what next? Ack.
