Outrigga'!

Mahana hana halo! Paddle season started up again last week after a 3-4 month break and what that means besides tight back muscles, twisting, tossing waters and cold foggy nights is a thrice-weekly pile of increasingly smelly, constantly damp clothing transported from home to work to practice and back again.

Let the good times roll.

Here's looking at you, Catalina! Whitest haoles are coming back!

In outrigger-related other news - because I jumped out for the slowest trail run EVER after practice on Saturday - can you believe that we have running trails with views like this literally right outside our doorsteps? Seriously. I'm constantly in awe. And constantly taking the same pictures. But this time there were flowers - if you look carefully there are yellow and purple and white flowers in the foreground. I swear. Regardless, that view. That view! Bay area, I love you!

I love this trail because of it's views and it's definitely a favorite with the Thursday morning run crew because it means we are on our way back home after what is usually a solid run in the dark followed by sunrise on the trail. You are such a stud staying current with all your athletic pursuits; skiing, mountain biking, paddling and trail running just to name four. When does Crossfit start up again or have you been doing that this whole time too?
