Go Blue!

It wasn't pretty and it wasn't dominating, but the Giants strung together a set of plays in overtime to go on and beat Atlanta by a field goal, 34-31, thus ending an abysmal 4 game losing streak to stay competitive in the NFC East.

More importantly, 10 of us rallied from across Manhattan, Utah and California - all bound together by a love of football - or at least an interest in experiencing an NFL game. Or tailgating. Or drinking over-priced stadium beers.

It was a perfect east coast day - crisp and sunny - complimented by Dad's tailgating expertise complete with Nathan's famous hot dogs, cold beer and all the craptastic salty niblets you could ever want. 8 hours later we capped it off back on the upper east side with homemade chili and pound cake.

Farewell Meadowlands; farewell my smug, healthy California eating habits. Hello Tums.

Special shout out to Brooke for getting the tickets and coordinating everything. xo
